Work has now moved inside. The first two pictures show what was the kitchen with all the counters ripped out - revealing an old fireplace behind. The second picture shows how rotten the wooden floor had become. The third picture shows the vestry with another fireplace revealed. You can also see what a poor condition the floor was in with the planks covering holes in the floorboards - a local preacher had actually fallen through this floor several months previously while walking through this room!
Meanwhile outside the beginning of the end was in sight for the toilets! These will not be missed by anyone, particularly anyone attending a sleepover at church who has had the pleasure of using these facilities in the dead of a freezing night!
